Life is sweet sweet ass.

lots of stuff has happened, so i'm going to give you guys a quick run-through.

been working tons... still cocktailing, aprenticing, and now, to add another into the equation... i have a coffee shop job too. at Cafine Dreams. couldnt be better

travelin too. colorado, pennsylvania, chicago, texas. ha ha oh man. me and jaime (citizen drake, flying just below radar) went to texas recently. We got pulled over in oklahoma city, and arrested. I got roughed up by the cops for the first time ever. I used to stand up for them... you know, "just doing their job" and whatnot. BULLSHIT. powertrippin assholes. anyways, they arrested us because they thouht we were transporting drugs... but we werent, so we sat in the back of seperate police cars for 2 hrs while they tore apart the 1985 monte carlo, and brought in the dogs. Nothing was found, and we were free to travel on.

then, later that night i found my hidden talent for throwing stars. thats right. I'm a ninja.

Seen some rockin shows lately.
against me, yeah yeah yeahs, of montreal, lots more, but i'm brain-dead.

so, yup. I guess i'm working toronto and montreal this summer. thank goodness for Karl. and the hookup.

you never know what kind of night they've had.

So, i had a panic attack at work on saturday. boo for rude fucking customers.

In other better news, i am feeling the world around me. Its a good and bad thing really, but it's nice to be connected.

yesterday at dick blic this older lady that i did not know named Linda Alison started talking to me for no reason, and i listend for no reason. I didnt realize how long she was talking to me until about 20 min into the conversation when the long version of American Pie came on the speaker radio. After this incredibly long song had ended, she continued to talk to me for another good half hour until finally a girl named Jan who worked there came over with a catalogue to "save me" but to be honest, i was fascinated by what this woman had to say. I've never had a complete stranger share so much of themselves and their life with me. But, being in the middle of a project, i took the out.

I had left my house at 5:00.
I returned at 6:30.
I only went to dick blic.
dick blic is 10 min away.

Wisconsin is this weekend. *STOKED!*

Hi folks! It's been a while. Here's a pretty quick rundown of all the fun i've been having in omaha!

I'm still cocktailing at an Irish Pub called Mauldoons. It's good. the money is enough to get by... and i only have to work three nights a week. Belive me, i'm still broke. But at least the bills are paid. Plus, I have a hella good time there, and it doesnt really feel like, well, work.

I'm whizzing through my apprenticeship with master speed... or at least right on time. All is going well in the Body Mods field. End of january i'm working La Crosse, WI... then in the beging of february I am going to be working out in LA... at SCAR WARS! It sounds far more scarry than it is. Promise. But it's only the second scarification convention ever. SO it's a pretty huge deal. Shake hands, kiss babys.

Class is good. It's all trimesters, so today was actually winter midterm. (interesting, eh?)

good god, I've been making so much shit...and it's awesome. the creative faucet has a leak. feels great. I'm going to post pics soon... once i figure out how. (help?)

I've recently started seeing a radical fella. His name is andrew. yeah. I like him.

ok... LOVING the new job.

also, to prove the point about omaha + snow:
today i was driving on 50th, and this car in front of me stopped super fast and was sliding all over the place, and i had to stop, so i hit the breaks, and my car slides completely sideways... like 90 deg. angle... heading straight for two pedestrians. To make matters more intense, they are old pedestrians in 6in of snow, one walking with a cane, who obviosly could not move very fast out of the way. My car stopped about 6 feet short of hitting them. talk about nervous.

Kind of in a hurry, here's the rundown:

Started classes thursday. I've got some homework to do.

got a job last night at this club, RETRO METRO working the door. i start tonight. (to keep you updated, the barista job fell through i guess. They never gave me a schedual, or returned any of my calls after they hired me.)

Had an interview this morning at Old Chicago. I have a second interview tuesday.

I start branding Pig Ears today. Obviously they are not attached to the pigs, nor are these pigs alive.

FOR THE RECCORD:
I take back every bad thing i ever said about driving in peoria in the winter. I had no idea what i was talking about. Omaha is a death trap in the snow.... but my goodness it is beautiful.

So. When the upstairs neighbors vacume, it sounds like a monster is eating my appartment.

Also, Makeing perfect Penutbutter and jelly sandwiches is an artform.

Recepie For Perfect PBJ:

Two pieces of wheat bread
Spoonful of Blackberry (or other) Jelly
Spoonful of Peanutbutter (I like the Crunchy Natural. Gritty, yet overall smooth.)

Toast the Bread to the 3rd dot of darkness on your toasting aperatus. With a table knike, spread the peanutbutter evenly in an aproximatly 1/4" thick layer on one piece of bread. Then, with the other piece of bread, spread the jelly evenly, making sure to reach to all edges of the bread. Now, this is very important, With the peanutbutter side and the jelly side of the breads facing one another, squish the breads together. Then cut the sandwich in half either rectangular, or triangular, based on preference.

A couple of nice things going on right now.

I've met some nice folks out here now. I also got a job. This place called 13th street coffee. Barista job. I like the kids that work there.

I started a new book. "Hopscotch" by Julio Cortazar. It's intense so far. good stuff.

I've been all kinds of crafty lately, and have made some shit that i am actually really happy with.

Signed up for two winter classes. A drawing class and a welding class. start nov. 30th. I've been studying up alot reasently on how to build tattoo machines. stoked about that.

Sunday I assist on my first brand. even more stoked about that.

So, last night i saw cursive. At thier 10 year anniversary show. In thier hometown local venue. For two dollars. amazing.

Somehow, hanging out with myself, and going a little crazy in my own mind is more fun than i've had in a long long time. It's nice to be a person.

I'm in omaha now. My mom came out and helped me move. that was incredible of her. She also bought me nice things like food and curtains. she is now back home safe.

the new place is pretty alright. I will feel better when i have a bookcase.

I dont have internet, so i wont be updating too much anymore.
